Music to our ears! The moment we stepped inside for the first time, it was nothing short of OMG! From the spotless bathrooms to the friendly greetings, delicious food, unique gifts, and now even a car wash—it’s all right at your fingertips. Buc-ee’s is truly a one-stop wonder. From wall to wall, you’ll find everything you’re looking for—and plenty of things you didn’t know you needed!
This stop has become a highlight of every trip we take. On our most recent vacation to Canyon Lake, we stumbled upon what might be the biggest Buc-ee’s we’ve ever seen in New Braunfels, TX. And now, with one opening closer to home, we’re beyond excited. Though, let’s be honest—this could be both good and bad. Closer means more visits…and probably a lot more Buc-ee’s receipts. My lunch breaks are about to look a lot more Buc-ee-licious!
On Point
Buc-ee’s sets the standard for cleanliness. I’ve never encountered bathrooms so spotless in a roadside establishment. During our first visit, the kids even wanted to take pictures inside, and we even got to snap a picture with Buc-ee himself!
Our go-to order? Definitely the pulled pork or chicken sandwich, though the snacks and cookies are family favorites too. And the gift section? Incredible. I especially love visiting during seasonal changes when the selection gets even better.
From ice chests to BBQ grills, cookware to cookbooks, Buc-ee’s has it all. Even their gas prices are impressive. Seeing the crowds flocking here speaks volumes about the vision behind this establishment. High five to whoever started this chain—your idea is a gift to us all. Kudos, ma’am or sir!
Always on the Map
Every trip we take includes a Buc-ee’s stop—it’s non-negotiable. My husband maps out how long it takes each and every time we hit the road. Our little one always asks, “How much longer until Buc-ee’s?”
We’ve bought countless items over the years, including jewelry, and we’ve never had an issue. The employees are always welcoming, wishing you a nice day or evening. With one opening soon in Lafayette, I can only hope the experience remains just as wonderful.
Not only will this location bring convenience, but it will also create jobs for our community, helping local families. Honestly, I’ve even considered working there part-time—just for the joy of walking through those doors every day.

Our love affair with Buc-ee’s began around 2019 on our way to the beach, we may have stumbled upon it a little late, but it’s been a family tradition ever since. Trust me—make the stop. You won’t regret it.
