This month for our “Be the Change Spotlight,” I’d like to introduce you to With Love, Acadiana, an organization focused on serving the less fortunate population in Lafayette, Louisiana and surrounding areas.
How With Love, Acadiana Got Started ::
Ali & Sarah started this organization with the hope of creating a grassroots effort to do one small act of service often and well. During their time serving friends downtown, they found that weekdays were not always regularly serviced. With the goal of serving every Thursday evening, they endeavor to offer a hot meal, toiletries, and new undergarments. All of their services are made possible with the help of donations, volunteers, and community partners. Advocacy that lifts hearts and hope is their priority.
What With Love, Acadiana Does ::
With Love, Acadiana is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on serving the less fortunate population in Lafayette, LA, and the surrounding areas. With the support of community, they are able to offer regular meal services & necessities. Currently, they aim to serve about 100 friends downtown every Thursday evening at 5:00pm CST.
