Yoga Hike – The Hidden Side of Chicot

Join us for a wonderful fall hike that combines nature, companionship and yoga into a day you won’t soon forget.
The transformation of mind, body and spirit motivates enthusiasts of hiking and yoga into a lifelong practice. The Hidden Side of Chicot Yoga Hike utilizes a lesser known area of the amazing Chicot Loop trail. Your guides will take you on a meditative hike and yoga class along the cypress studded shoreline of beautiful lake Chicot.
Your yoga guide will lead you through a meditative gentle hatha flow; linking breath to movement and will offer plenty of modifications for practitioners of all levels. The class is based upon a practice with an emphasis on alignment, individuality, and acceptance. We will listen to the birds and the wind in the trees as we relax into Savasana.
You can expect both yoga practice and about 2-3 hours of hiking.

On the day of the trip meet at 9am at the entrance of Chicot State Park. We’ll include directions in your confirmation email.
Price Includes – The trip includes your instructor, guide, and a healthy snack.
Level 2 trip – This trip is rated as such because of the combination of hiking and yoga. It’s still suitable to beginners as long as you are comfortable with trips involving 4-5 hours of actual hiking+yoga time. We will take several breaks during the trip.
