Atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere! Under new ownership, but still keeping the same vibes. Order an espresso and enjoy a poetry reading, live jazz, or Art Walk. Make sure to pair that espresso with gelato and a freshly baked in house treat. (I was going to say “or”… but let’s be real here.) Carpe Diem is always experimenting with unique flavors, so my best advice is to try something new and exciting!

7. Indulge

Two words. Coffee. Spritzer. If you have never had a coffee spritzer, Indulge is the place to try one. I recommend visiting Indulge for your coffee fix and extra cool mom bonus points on a Sunday during “Sunday Sweet Jams.” Also, their cheesecakes are to die for!

8. Johnston Street Java

Johnston Street Java is now serving Keto friendly coffee concoctions such as the Keto-Licious Frappé and the Keto Bullet Coffee for all those hot mommas on the Keto diet! Or, on the other end of the spectrum, be sure to stop by on “Sucre Tuesday” for special deals on Sucres and Milkshakes.

Christy is a fun-loving wife and mother of two little ladies Amelia (7) and Gwendolyn (3) currently residing in Broussard. She met her husband, Thomas, through Greek life in college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the rest, as they say, is history. Christy is the Lead Designer at Confetti Momma. She is obsessed with her job and is currently working on developing the perfect balance between work and home life. Being a little bit corny and a LOT cheesy, she lives for the laugh and appreciates a good pun. Making people smile gives her the warm fuzzies. Christy loves baking with her daughters, Gilmore Girls, game nights with friends, and all things frozen (as in ice cream and snowballs- although Anna and Elsa are her home girls). Oh! And coffee … lets not forget coffee!
