Benefits of Vitamin IV Therapy for Women

You may have heard about Vitamin IV Therapy recently. It’s a growing industry and definitely gaining popularity here in Lafayette. Initially, most people think of hangovers when they hear IV, but did you know that there are many health benefits other than
helping the morning after too many pinots at Rhythms on the River? Benefits of Vitamin IV Therapy for Women

Boost Your Body’s Natural Energy

Most of us mamas can attest to the fact that we are all EXHAUSTED. There’s nothing like the kind of tired you feel after kids. They depend on us for everything, and it really does take a toll on our bodies. Even if we’re lucky enough to get one good night’s sleep, sometimes that’s not enough. The B-complex vitamins and amino acids found in our Energy & Metabolism Infusion  give your body the resources it needs to function properly. And if you don’t have time to sit through an hour IV, we also have several B12 Injections that are great for increasing your energy levels!

Aid Your Immune System

How many times have you said, “I don’t have time to be sick!”? As moms, we don’t get a day off, even if we feel terrible. When you feel those cold or flu symptoms coming on, or seasonal allergies start giving you trouble, our Immunity Infusion can help your body fight off that sickness quicker! Vitamin C is an antioxidant that can help eliminate the cells in your body that cause infection. Zinc helps with immune support by aiding your body to make white blood cells and antibodies when fighting illnesses.

Muscle Performance & Recovery

Whether you’re looking for a jump start on your exercise journey, or you’re a seasoned athlete that just needs help with muscle recovery after a tough Pure Barre workout or half marathon, look no further! Our Peak Performance Infusion is designed to shorten the time of recovery and potentially improve athletic ability! Amino acids can assist with muscle recovery and building of proteins. They are broken down in the liver and can assist with increased metabolism and weight loss.

Improve Mental & Cognitive Functions

Mom Brain is real. If you are struggling with memory recall, certain aspects of learning, or even anxiety or depression, our Brain Boost Infusion may be your new best friend! Folic
acid is used for cell formation. It can help slow the process of cell breakdown and cognitive impairment diseases.  Both Vitamin B6 and Folic Acid are building blocks for many “feel good” neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine, which lift your mood, helping to lessen symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as ADHD.IV Vitamin Therapy Lafayette Louisiana

Reduce Signs of Aging

Seems like once you turn 30, your skin just starts looking older. It’s not fair, but it’s reality. At Vivid Infusion + Wellness, we believe aging is a beautiful thing, but we also want to enjoy our youthful skin and hair as long as we can! Enter crowd favorite: The Glow Up Infusion! Biotin is great for hair, skin, and nail health, and assists with the breakdown of carbohydrates, fatty acids, and amino acids. When biotin levels are low, it can cause thin, brittle hair and nails as well as skin rashes. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that may brighten the skin.

Migraine/Headache Relief

Did you know that around 3 out or 4 people that suffer from migraines are women? While there are several types of migraines that can be caused by many different factors, headaches are often related to low fluid intake and can be improved with hydration. IV fluids are the quickest and most efficient way to combat dehydration headaches. If you have been diagnosed with migraines, we accept orders for our Migraine Cocktail Infusion from your medical provider.

Ease Morning Sickness

During pregnancy and while nursing, our bodies are working overtime. All our nutritional reserves are being used to nourish our baby. In order to sustain both ourselves and the needs of our baby, we need to replete those vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients lost. Nausea and morning sickness during pregnancy can be caused by dehydration. IV fluids will aid in rehydration while the vitamins and minerals in our Morning Sickness Infusion will re-supplement what has been lost while sick, and give additional energy and red blood cell support. Even if you’re not experiencing nausea, this is still a great option for our mamas-to-be! Our clinic must have a written order from a referring provider on file, so be sure to talk to your OB-GYN prior to scheduling your appointment with us!

In addition to these benefits, Vitamin IV Therapy can promote cardiovascular health, help cleanse and detox your body of free radicals, and reduce inflammation. We offer Micronutrient Testing through SpectraCell Laboratories as well as a Physician Supervised Weight Management Program. Be sure to check our website for more information and find the service that might be best for you!
