Oliver Lane Creative Studio :: A Local Gem You Should Visit
I usually throw my kid’s birthday parties at home, and they have always been so much fun. However, they are getting older and this year, they both requested a party where they could invite school friends. Normally we invite friends and familywhich is fine for a party at home, but I didn’t want to host a party at home with so many people possibly coming (cause who wants to clean all that up?!).
My daughter is into arts and crafts and like every year prior to this birthday party, she wanted to have another arts and crafts themed party. This proved to be a bit of a challenge when I began searching for venues. Finding somewhere that was reasonably priced, allowed us enough time without feeling rushed, and actually was an arts and crafts centered venue wasn’t easy to find. After much googling, I came across Oliver Lane Creative Studio and let’s just say that I hit the jackpot.
The owner, Shayna, was such a pleasure to work with.
She gave us a very reasonable price and she let us use the studio until the girls were finished. This was huge because most places only allow you 1.5 to 2 hours, which always feels so rushed to me. She gave us the option to come in a little early to decorate, and we were able to bring our own food and music. The girls were each allowed to select a ceramic they liked, there were so many options to choose from. Shayna walked them through the painting process and helped if they made any mistakes they wanted to fix. The girls all enjoyed the music and painting, everyone had such a great time. Once the girls were done she kept the ceramics to bake and finish them. She called me a few days later so that we could pick them up and give them to the girls, they all LOVED their creations.

There are a variety of different crafts to do. Everyone is sure to find something they’ll enjoy.
