The cost of living is rising in nearly every aspect. The obvious higher home buying prices, gas prices, even down to every day groceries have increased significantly from what they used to be. As a family who eats practically every meal at home, I do spend a lot of time grocery shopping and am always planning around sale items. With the recent opening of Aldi, and being hailed as a low cost grocery store, I’ve price compared some staple grocery items to Walmart, as it is also considered a low price leader in the industry. I also compared private label products to the respective grocery store private labels to get more equitable results. Mind you, Aldi will not have every single product you may typically use, and I personally will still find myself doing a grocery pick up at another store maybe once a month for those other items. But, if you are looking to save some money on groceries, Aldi can help you save! Just remember to bring a quarter for your shopping cart and your own bags to organize groceries (or do like me and load them all individually into your vehicle and house)!
Are there any products you want me to price check?
Can you price check 12oz cans of Diet Coke? Also I wonder if they carry Monster Lo Carb energy drinks?
Diet Coke 12 pk at Aldi is $6.17 as compared to the $6.18 at Walmart. There was not signs of Monster Energy drinks. The brand they carried was Summit.
