Sazón Goya Is A Seasoning You Didn’t Know You Needed!
I can not say enough about Sazón Goya seasoning; I literally use it for everything. From ribeye steaks to chicken to fish, and even in hamburger meat to make my special jalapeno cilantro spaghetti … I use this product. I am nowhere near being a person who knows their way around the kitchen, but I definitely get by. As the wife of a Mexican man, I have picked up a few neat recipes here and there and actually made them into my own versions. I am also a mom that prefers to do meals under 30 mins and have them still be tasty. With this seasoning, I sprinkle a little on whatever it is that I am cooking, and BOOM there it is, a tasty and delicious meal – all compliments of Sazón Goya, my best friend in the kitchen.
I definitely am not trying to be an authentic Mexican chef; however, I just use this little package of magic, and it makes a world of difference on so many of the different meats and veggies I cook for my family. There is one veggie in particular that I have absolutely fallen in love with, and it is a Mexican squash called Calabaza.
Here is how I cook it:
- Cut up 2 medium size squash into little squares
- Sprinkle with my sazón and a little salt, black pepper and garlic powder.
- Drizzle some olive oil over it and mix it up real good.
- Put in the air fryer on 400 for 20 minutes
- I serve it with any meat of choice, or I personally like to eat it by it’s self.
Trying different foods has always been a thing I have enjoyed doing, along with trying to cook them myself!
Living here in Cajun Country, I haven’t truly taken my hand to dip into some good ole Cajun cooking, but I definitely enjoy indulging in the foods others prepare. With an open mind, you can come across things that you would have never thought you would like!
I just discovered Goya sazon packets myself and I’m addicted! I just got the tomato and cilantro and the azafran flavors and can’t wait to try those! Just not sure what to use the azafran flavor ones for.. suggestions welcome!
