Everyone loves a good Target run. If you are already frequenting the aisles of the beloved “Motherland,” here are 5 reasons why you should stop by the pharmacy and get your flu shot at Target.

Listen momma, we know you are going to Target anyway. Why make a separate trip elsewhere or have to schedule an appointment with your doctor when you can just add it to your Target list? It doesn’t take longer than 10 minutes during a shopping trip you are probably already making anyway. Convenience is key!

Shots for the whole family
Children ages 7 and up can get their shots at the Target Pharmacy. This tidbit of info may save you from having to bring Jack and Sally to a walk- in clinic or the pediatrician’s office, which we know they always dread. Target Pharmacist = The Oprah of flu shots. You get a shot! You get a shot! You get a shot!

Access to plentiful post-shot treats
Treat yo’self to a Starbucks coffee and the kids to an Icee from the café as an after-shot treat. Or literally Anything. At. Target. Waaaaaaay better than any lollipop or sticker IMO.

Your friendly neighborhood pharmacist
You would be heard pressed to find a Target employee that you didn’t like, but I have to say the pharmacists at our local Lafayette Target on Ambassador are stellar. (And yes, I know they are technically CVS employees now, but they were there pre merger so in my heart they will always be Target employees.) They always go above and beyond and even have special kiddo tactics when administering their flu shots!

$5 Coupon
Target cash registers will automatically print out a $5 coupon with each flu shot transaction. Most flu shots are free with your insurance, so Target literally PAYS YOU to get a flu shot. Let’s be honest, you were going to give Target all your money anyway, right? So why not have an extra $5 to spend in the dollar spot?
