A dear friend of mine turned me on to one of the newest TikTok recipes so I had to pass it on in case you may have missed out!
What kid doesn’t love pizza?! I know my kiddos can eat pizza, pizza rolls, pizza bagels and anything else with the word “pizza” in it over and over. This COULD BE looked at as a healthier alternative!
Healthier Pizza Roll Ups
Ingredients:
– Carb balance tortillas
– Shredded mozzarella (I find this works better than the string cheese you may see on videos)
– Turkey pepperoni
– Italian seasoning
– Marinara sauce
Directions:
- Layer pepperoni and cheese in the middle of the tortilla
- Add Italian seasoning
- Roll tortilla as if you are make enchiladas
- Cook in air fryer at 400 degrees for 6 minutes
- Once finished serve with a side of marinara for dipping
We have made this for an easy dinner on a busy evening. I have even made them for the kids lunch. I cut them in half and serve with a small container of sauce.
A healthier option for pizza is always a WIN!
