Chicot Summer Shade Paddle

There’s no better summertime paddle than gliding in the shade of the Cypress and Tupelo of the beautiful Lake Chicot. This special summertime edition will get you on the water in the cooler morning hours and take advantage of the abundant shade you’ll find in the flooded forests of Chicot State park. We’ll meander at a relaxed pace so that you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of this special place. You can expect to enjoy not only the wonderful flora of the park, but also the bird life found on the lake.
Trip meets at Pack & Paddle at 7am, or at E Landing at 8:15 am. We should be back in Lafayette between 2 and 3pm
