Lafayette Stars & Stripes is Lafayette’s signature Fourth of July celebration, a free, family-friendly festival that brings together community, culture, and good old-fashioned fun in downtown Lafayette each Independence Day.
Hosted in partnership with LUS and LFT Fiber, this event has become a beloved annual tradition for families and friends across Acadiana.
Held at Parc International, Lafayette Stars & Stripes transforms the heart of downtown into a vibrant celebration full of patriotic energy, live music, incredible local food, interactive activities, and an unforgettable fireworks show lighting up the Louisiana sky.
Free & Open to All
Lafayette Stars & Stripes is free to attend and open to everyone, making it a true hometown celebration where neighbors, visitors, and families unite around food, music, and patriotic pride.
Gates typically open early in the evening with activities, entertainment, and community energy building toward the fireworks show after sunset.
