Paws and Read with Pet Partners of Acadiana: East Regional Library

Your child can practice reading with a certified therapy animal from Pet Partners of Acadiana. Children reading to a nonjudgmental audience, like dogs, supports their developing literacy skills. Sessions are limited to 15 minutes.

 Ages 4- 10.

Registration is required and opens two weeks before the event, in person at East Regional Library or by calling (337) 445-3168. Online reservations are not possible.

Please note that time schedules are strictly adhered to. Late arrivals cannot have their time extended, nor can they enter late. Participants are encouraged to arrive early so that they may browse the collection to select reading materials.
