Best Restaurants In Lafayette For A Mom’s Night Out

Best Restaurants In Lafayette For A Mom’s Night Out

I recently got together with some friends that I hadn’t seen in a while. We’re all busy with work and kids and extracurriculars. The idea simply started when my friend’s husband was out of town, and I said “we need a night out when he’s back home.”

She said YES!

We picked a restaurant and a day and sent a group text to our friends. Surprisingly, everyone was available. We had so much fun catching up. The food and drinks were amazing. Even more amazing was the fact that nobody needed anything from me.

Nobody was yelling, “MOMMM!”

So this is your reminder. No matter how busy you are make time for you. I know it’s difficult when you are so exhausted from parenting littles. Just put it on the schedule. Reach out to a friend, sister, co-worker, neighbor. Hire a babysitter or put your partner on child care duty. Call the grandparents. You deserve a break. You are worth it.

Invest in you!

Friendship is something worth putting your time and work into. Your kids won’t always be so small and needy. When your kids are grown, you’ll have time to cultivate those friendships even more. So make time now for connecting with friends. You will feel refreshed after a night of laughing with your ladies.

Okay…now that you are planning your night out. (Right?!) Here are a few local places in Lafayette that we think would be super fun for the perfect mom’s night out. Which one will you choose first?

Tip: check for drink specials and happy hour times before you make plans.
