The Winning Combo For Press-On Nails
Yall! I think I have found the perfect nail combo! If you recall, since the beginning of the year, I have been attempting to break up with my nail salon. It has been a tedious process. I recently tried Glamnetic Nails, which I really liked. But I was not completely sold. While randomly searching on Amazon, I found OPI Xpress/ON.
Yes, OPI makes press on nails, who knew?
OPI claims to last fourteen days. I was intrigued and decided to give them a go. They come in all of the signature OPI colors, as well as French tips and chrome colors. I ordered them in bubble bath, one of my favorite OPI shades. I also ordered the Glamnetic nail glue. If you recall from my last nail trial, I was very impressed with Glamnetic’s nail glue. So, I figured this would be a good combo.
The nails were very easy to apply. I filed my nails and cleaned them with an alcohol pad. I applied glue on my nail and the false nail. They nails were a little longer than I like, so I filed them down to an active length for me. They are made of a thick plastic, so they felt and looked like my natural nail with gel polish. It was time to put them to the test! The nails survived my active lifestyle of working out, typing daily, cooking and cleaning. It also survived me moving furniture and painting. OPI’s nails lasted far longer than what they claimed. Three weeks later, I had to soak them off because they were not budging! Talk about impressed!
Pros
The nails come in all of the classic OPI colors, which is more my style. They were very easy to apply. The biggest pro for me is how natural the nail looked and how long the nails remained on. At $13.99 for a basic set ($15.99 for French tip and chrome) this is a great investment.
Cons
Honestly, I have none! I am in love with this combo!
I have not been to the nail shop in well over three months. I have found that doing my own toes is oddly relaxing and makes for a good self-care moment. Now, if only I could learn how to do my own brows!
