The Perfect Birthday Party Location: The Little Gym of Lafayette!

This year was the first year that I did not host a joint birthday party for my kids at the house. I was a little apprehensive about the change, because we were so used to throwing a party with close family and friends at the house. My daughter was turning 8 and my son was turning 4. My daughter really wanted a gymnastics themed birthday party, so I started researching different locations in the area. There are several companies that hosted gymnastics themed birthday parties, but I had a fantastic experience with The Little Gym of Lafayette specifically! Here were the top reasons I chose The Little Gym:

Perfect for Kids Under 10: My youngest and oldest have a 4 year age gap, so I needed to choose a venue that would be fun for kids in their age range. I needed to find that sweet spot where my 8 year old would not feel like the party location was for babies and a location where my 4 year old could enjoy the full experience too. This definitely fit the bill!

Planning was a breeze! The Little Gym asked detailed questions about our party theme, provided cupcakes, plates, and bottled water. They were extremely communicative and helpful throughout the party planning process. They have several themed party decorations that you can choose from as well. We chose to bring our own decorations, but it is great to have this as an option.

We got the place to ourselves. Each party gets the entire venue to themselves! This made it so easy to relax and enjoy time with your guests.

Planned Activities: The kids had both free play in the gymnastics area and planned activities! The instructors for the day made it so fun for the kids with songs, musical instruments, games, and overseeing that all the kids were having a good time.

Refreshments and Presents: I was so grateful for all of the help with refreshments and presents! Once the kids were done playing, I had tons of help passing out cupcakes. The instructor had the process of opening presents down to a science! She had one bag for trash and one bag for presents. She was even taking notes on who bought what kids presents. With two kids opening presents, it can get really overwhelming. I was so grateful for an extra pair of hands during this process.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience! I would definitely recommend putting The Little Gym of Lafayette on your list for your child’s next birthday party. For more suggestions on party locations, read The Ultimate Guide to Birthday Parties in Lafayette Louisiana.
