Playtopia :: Lafayette’s Newest Indoor Play Space
Playtopia, a new interactive entertainment spot has arrived in Lafayette, featuring an indoor sandbox, RC racetrack, and creative play zones for kids and parents!
This new and exciting concept is something Acadiana has never seen. My daughter and I were fortunate to have visited. This is the neatest spot with a book nook, a sandbox, and 3 different remote control areas, imaginary play and an amazing relaxed atmosphere. I personally got to chat with the owner a bit while my daughter enjoyed 3 hours of complete imaginative play!
The owner herself is a mom and a gran to 12 kids! She and her husband (who works in construction) came up with this idea and put together the entire place. My daughter’s favorite was the sandbox and she thoroughly enjoyed the track where she used a remote control to navigate her monster truck over the hand built rock structures.
Admission is required for anyone over the age of 6 months. There are many options including a sand play pass, additional add ons, or a complete play package! Important Tip :: socks must be worn by anyone in the sandbox.
