Fun Subscription Boxes For Moms And Children

Fun Subscription Boxes For Moms And Children

Subscription boxes have been around for a while, and we’ve always enjoyed getting a little surprise in the mail. My first experience with a subscription box was Kiwi Crate. My daughter loved the Kola box when she was in Kindergarten. Each month had a different themed box with supplies and instructions for a few activities. We were given a year long subscription and had a great time learning each month.

We are currently subscribed to several boxes: some for mom, some for my ten year old daughter, and some for both of us to enjoy. These boxes have been great for our mental health and have provided us with a little happiness during a difficult time in our lives.

For mom ::

Therabox has been my absolute favorite! It’s created by a therapist, so I’m biased of course. Each box comes with self-care items (think skincare, fancy soap, hair products). Each box also comes with a therapeutic activity, such as mindfulness cubes, therapeutic journals, therapeutic books, and games. All of the items are designed to improve your mental health. My favorite product has been my white beanie hat that says “All Is Well.”

CalmBox has also been pretty amazing. Self-care products such as face masks are always included, along with candles and therapeutic activities such as mindful coloring books.

The Believer’s Box incorporates self-care, but it also includes activities to learn more about my Christian faith. I’ve received Bibles, Bible journaling tools, pens, and handy little bags with Bible verses on them. They also send yummy snacks in each box!

Creatively Unplugged is a mix of self-care products and a project. The goal is to relax and unwind while learning something new. So far my favorite box has been glass frames with pressed flowers. Each box comes with all of the instructions and material needed to complete your project. They also include a playlist of relaxing music.

For my 10 year old daughter ::

The True Girl Subscription Box sends a bunch of goodies that help my daughter grow in her faith. They’ve sent Bible journals, stickers, memory verse cards, and mommy daughter devotionals. They also send fun extras like snacks and socks. We’ll definitely be long-term subscribers!

The Hey Doll box sends lots of fun stuff for tween and teen girls. My daughter loves receiving their positive messages, journals, skincare products, makeup, eye masks, and jewelry. It’s a great gift for Christmas or a birthday. They also have a box for older teenage girls.

For the family to share ::

Universal Yums is exactly what it sounds like. Each month a different country is featured and they send snacks and information about that particular country. So far our favorite has been our Belgium box. It was full of different types of chocolate. Since each box comes with an information guide, we’re learning too! It’s the perfect box for homeschool.

Celebrate States is a similar box that provides snacks and keepsakes from different states. It was a fun coincidence that their most recent box featured Louisiana. It was full of fun Cajun food items and they even threw in some Mardi Gras beads! This is another great box for homeschool since they send information about the current state.

For my toddler ::

I just subscribed to the Panda Crate from Kiwi Co. Our first box was absolutely precious. It contained toddler proof letters and activities to begin teaching the alphabet. I look forward to more of them!

What are some subscription boxes you’ve tried?

Do any of these spark your interest? These are also great gift ideas for your loved ones.
