Return Of The Mac
Bonne Vie Macaron combines a cup of bakery with a pinch of romance bookstore. The dessert case is always full of yummy little delectable sweets (offering new flavors every week!), and their shelves are stocked with romance books. They host monthly book clubs, themed events, and seasonal pop-ups, but any day you walk in, you can expect delicious macarons, great coffee, wonderful recommendations, and all the yummy treats. It’s a warm, inviting, cozy, spot that’s just a little over-the-top but in the best way.
The book clubs, which were started by a group of regulars who loved to read, began when they hosted one meeting, then another … and suddenly, now you need a wristband to join this exclusive club. While Heather never imagined owning a bookstore, now she can’t imagine her business without the book clubs and the special touch of whimsy.
From Hustling to Grand Openings
Back in 2017, Heather began making macarons while teaching college English. It was never supposed to be a full-time thing, but you can’t stop falling once love finds you, and Heather was up for a challenge. This well-cultivated business has grown, and the move has been a surreal experience, according to Heather, who has been hustling behind the scenes, rebuilding from scratch. Heather said, “This feels like home,” as she shared her emotions, a mix of pride, relief, and deep gratitude.
Heather hopes the new space becomes a real cozy, joyful spot where friends can grab a treat, find their next favorite romance, and experience a real sense of belonging. With high hopes of growing the book clubs, hosting author events, and starting a subscription box with desserts, books, and goodies one day. More than anything, she wants it to stay rooted in the things that matter: community, connection, and a really good treat.

There’s still time to attend THE GRAND OPENING THIS Saturday, July 12th at 9:00 AM, where you can find macaroons, romance, and coffee. Heathers favorite macaron The Banana Split pairs well with cold brews, teas and matcha. You can also stop by the flower bar provided by Pretty & Pink Events to build your own bouquet.
