I want both of you to know how much you mean to me and how much joy, love, and sunshine you bring into my life. Every morning, I look forward to waking you up just so I can see those big smiles on your faces when your eyes open. Then I hear, “Good morning, Daddy. I love you,” and it melts my heart every single time.

Some days, when I feel like I’m done with the day and having a rough time, one of you will randomly say, “You’re a good daddy.” It’s almost like you know exactly when Daddy needs to hear it. Just like the sun, you always find a way to brighten my day.

I want you both to know how proud I am of you and how much I love you. I wouldn’t trade either of you for anything in this world because you are perfect to me. You are my big boys, and nothing in this world can make my heart feel the way you do.

Watching you grow up every day is both exciting and a little scary. Part of me wishes you could stay Daddy’s little babies forever, but I know life doesn’t work that way. What I do know is that you both have bright futures ahead of you. With your big hearts and brilliant minds, I truly believe you will make a difference in this world.

I know without a doubt that you will grow into successful, well-educated young men, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish. But no matter how big you get or how old you become, to me, you will always be those little boys running around the house in wet diapers with snotty noses, keeping Daddy on his toes and filling our home with laughter.

Daddy loves you both more than words can ever express, and I am so very proud to be called your daddy.
