Magnolia Pantry in Downtown Lafayette Made My Dreams Come True

Ever since visiting Austin, Texas this summer, I have been DYING for Lafayette to offer more playground + restaurant and playground + coffee shop combos. My favorite thing about visiting Austin was the plethora of restaurants or coffee shops that had a playground included on their lot. This option allowed us a much more enjoyable and freeing experience bringing kids to a restaurant — the kids were so happy to play together while waiting on their food and the adults got to actually TALK to each other! When our food came out, the kids ran back to the table to eat, and then happily returned to play when they finished eating, allowing the whole family to spend more time at the restaurant visiting.

Magnolia Pantry in downtown Lafayette is making my coffee shop + playground dreams come true! This new coffee shop is located right next to the playground in Parc San Souci! This past weekend, my family stopped by for iced coffee (and iced matcha), then walked right over to the playground for the kids to play!

Magnolia Pantry also offers a patio with umbrellas to sit and enjoy your coffee and treats. All I could think of was how thankful I was that Lafayette is beginning to offer these options for parents, and how amazing this location will be during cool fall and spring days!

During our first trip, we just got coffee, but I’m dying to return and try out their savory hand pies and icebox pies! The environment is so cozy, welcoming, and close by a playground that I know Magnolia Pantry will be a location we frequent as a family in downtown Lafayette!
