Don’t Sleep on Spoonbill’s Sunday Brunch!

Don’t Sleep on Spoonbill’s Sunday Brunch!

Spoonbill Watering Hole & Restaurant in Downtown Lafayette is one of our family’s favorite restaurants! We love the outdoor seating area and their family-friendly atmosphere. Although Spoonbill is a favorite for my family, we had actually never been to their Sunday brunch until we ended up there on a random, chilly Sunday morning!

Here’s what to expect if you drop by Spoonbill for their Sunday brunch!

Curated & Delicious Brunch Menu

My husband and I rarely deviate from our Spoonbill favorites (chicken sandwich for me, bibimbap for him), so we had to really study the brunch menu before making a decision.

I was very torn between the Brunchwrap Supreme, Breakfast Burrito, Chilaquiles, or the Smoked Salmon bagel (my mouth is literally watering as I type this!!). I finally chose the Smoked Salmon bagel, and was not disappointed!

Hip & Casual Atmosphere

Whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors, Spoonbill has a casual and hip atmosphere perfect for Sunday brunch! Outdoor seating is spacious and provides a fun and engaging view of Downtown Lafayette. Indoor seating is cozy, with exposed brick walls, colorful artwork, high ceilings, huge windows, and greenery throughout the space!

Family Friendly

Almost immediately upon being seated, our two daughters were handed kids’ menus with coloring sheets, crayons, and special Spoonbill cups of water with lids and colorful swirly straws. What a perfect way to greet us and our hangry children as we are sitting down to eat! Many other families with young kids trickled into the restaurant after we were seated to enjoy a special family brunch at Spoonbill!

Don’t sleep on Spoonbill’s Sunday brunch, open from 10:00am -2:00pm each Sunday! It is the perfect place to stop by with your family or friends. I can’t wait to return to try the other brunch options on their menu!
